2008 SCNCA SoCal Cup Rules
All SCNCA road races, stage races, omniums, criteriums, and circuit races will have the opportunity to participate in the 2008 SoCal Cup.  To qualify as an eligible race, it must be a SoCal Cup category and meet the minimum times shown above. Stage races and omniums are exempt from the minimum times.  The SoCal Cup season will end on August 31st.

Clubs/Teams will earn points for all riders registered with USAC as club/team members.  Points earned in a combined category race such as a 3/4 race, will only be applied to the HIGHEST SoCal Cup category (in this case, Cat 3).  Stand alone Cat 1 and Cat 2 races will not be eligible for points.  At a minimum, master races must be open to Cat 1-4 riders to be eligible.

Best Overall Teams will be determined by adding the points for all of their riders in the respective team categories.  Riders will earn points for the team listed on their USCF license.  If there is no team listed on a rider’s license the points will go to the listed club.  Unattached riders will not contribute team points. Automatic upgrades will not be enforced during August 2008.

Please be aware that once results are posted at an event, you have a 15 minute window to protest the results.  Once that 15 minute period has elapsed, the results are official and they cannot be changed.  The input to the SoCal Cup is based on the official results submitted by the USCF Chief Referee.  Requests to change placings and team affiliations will not be made.  Changes to correct an error so that it is consistent with the information found on your USCF license will be made.  These changes are typically done to correct typos of a rider's name or USCF club/team.  We will also correct any omissions to the SoCal Cup database, as long as that missing data is found in the official results.
